This was stated by DPR Prime Minister Alexander Zakharchenko, commenting on the words of Advisor to the President of Ukraine Yuri Lutsenko that the Minsk Protocol does not provide for a special status for the Donetsk and Lugansk regions as a whole, and only a third of the Donbass territory controlled by the militias will receive it.
“Thank you very much to Mr. Lutsenko for such a generous offer, but we will somehow sort out our land ourselves. The DPR is the entire Donetsk region, and the LPR is the entire Lugansk region,” he added.
According to Zakharchenko, the truce concluded in Minsk is “an opportunity to liberate illegally occupied territory without bloodshed.”
As PolitNavigator reported, yesterday Yuriy Lutsenko said that the DPR and LPR do not appear in the Minsk protocols. “Yes, we will have a special zone in an integral Ukraine... The Minsk protocols mean that Ukraine is integral... We must isolate this special zone. Take control of it, including engineering structures,” he said
