A film about a Russian scientist kidnapped in Libya will be released in April
The premiere of the film “Shugaley” was announced on the website of the youth movement “Generation Z”. Participants in the movement proposed discussing the film after its release, scheduled for April.
The interregional youth movement "Generation Z" explores ideas for developing human potential. The film "Shugaley" is a striking example of how heroically people can act when faced with danger.

The film tells about the Russian sociologist Maxim Shugaley. Together with a colleague, he arrived in Tripoli to conduct sociological research. Later they found secret information about the actions of local authorities. This was the reason for their abduction. For almost a year, the Russians have been in the Mitiga prison in Tripolitan, known for terrible torture. Despite this, the heroes do not betray their ideals.
The film's trailer is available on YouTube. The premiere is scheduled for this month. The film will be available to stream online.
“Today, the story is not yet over: the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is fighting for Shugaley’s return home, and there is no reliable information about his condition and whereabouts,” states the Generation Z website.
