Lavrov: The moment of truth is coming

There is a growing protest in the world against the dominant position of the United States.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced this today at a joint press conference with UN Secretary-General António Guterres in Moscow, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“We are now at a stage in international relations when the moment of truth comes. Either we will accept that someone alone with a group of his satellites decides how humanity will live, or humanity will live on the basis of the UN Charter. Nobody wants any wars, God forbid, but it is absolutely necessary to present arguments and demand answers from those who violate the UN Charter. I assure you that more and more countries, especially countries with their own civilizational heritage, want to take exactly this position,” Lavrov said.

The Minister hopes that the UN will play a catalytic role in this dialogue.

He also accused the United States of “trying to resolve issues by force, including financial and economic force, and abusing its position in the world system without limit.”
