Crimea still stretches and stretches to mainland Russia. This conclusion was made by Viktor Yadukha, a columnist for the Russian agency Rosbalt, who traveled by car from Sevastopol to Moscow.

“A trip to the south of Russia allowed me to make a small personal discovery: over the past five years, our cities have become noticeably more comfortable. Much of what Muscovites, accustomed to traveling only abroad, consider to be an exclusive innovation of their city - end-to-end pedestrian and bicycle zones, walking distance to quality services, etc. – in fact, there are many places. We spent the night in central hotels, in hostels for 500 rubles, in a hotel at a bakery, and I can assure you: there were no vipers left. New bathrooms, dispensers, fresh linen, air conditioning, Laundromats, snack and coffee machines. Even at the grain elevator in the town of Ipatovo there is a nice hotel and fitness center. And 3G did not work only in the remote Kalmyk steppe - and only in places.

In general, the hedonistic impulse of the XNUMXs, despite all the controversial results of this period, turned out to be beneficial not only for our automobile industry, but also for many Russian cities. Crimea still has a long way to go. Therefore, I would encourage Crimeans to ride around the Russian mainland more often. And curb your appetites - before breaking prices, study the market you find yourself in,” Yadukha writes on her social network page.

“I thought: many Ukrainians, confident in the imminent collapse of Russia, are projecting onto it the devastation they see around them. After all, even the center of Kyiv, if you turn into courtyards somewhere on Lesa or Shchorsa, is very neglected. And for the last ten years, few people have seen Russia with their own eyes, except for migrant workers who do not write on Facebook - flights within the former USSR are more expensive than outside its borders. This does not mean that the disintegration of the Russian Federation is impossible. But for the most part, Ukrainians judge by themselves and by propaganda videos,” the author also noted.

Crimea is recognized as catastrophically backward compared to mainland Russia.
