This opinion was expressed at a press conference in Kyiv by the head of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research, Valentin Badrak.

“Even during the Soviet era there was no such militarization of Crimea,” the expert claims. – Today in Crimea there are carriers for tactical nuclear weapons. This means that Crimea has become a springboard that primarily threatens the West, making it impossible for the West to intervene. This is precisely why the militarization of Crimea took place. I think that in parallel with the order to start the war, there will be a transfer of tactical nuclear weapons to Crimea.”
