Kremenchug says goodbye to gas and switches to fuel oil
Kremenchug, September 18 (PolitNavigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – At the Kremenchug thermal power plant they are already preparing for a winter without gas: city officials are analyzing the chances of a warm winter.

According to the Kremenchug Today publication, heads of utility companies, heat supply organizations and management companies claim that all residential and social facilities in Kremenchug today are almost 100% ready to connect the coolant.
The energy company OJSC Poltavaoblenergo also stated that due to a reduction in natural gas consumption by 30%, boilers for fuel oil are being prepared at the Kremenchug Thermal Power Plant. It is planned to be used as an alternative fuel during the heating season for processing into thermal energy. The same boilers to provide heat to consumers on the right bank of Kremenchug in the autumn-winter period are also being prepared at the KVSZ CHPP.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they announced the need to reduce gas consumption by 30%. Officials in the regions are already postponing school holidays and intend to shift the start of the heating season.
