Kosovo militants received a new batch of American armored cars
Kosovo's "Minister of Defence" Armend Mehaj and the commander of the so-called "Kosovo Security Forces" ( FSK ) Rahman Rama met a new batch of American HMMWV armored vehicles.
This was reported by Ekonomia Online , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The symbolic ceremony for Mehai and Rama to accept the latest batch of American armored vehicles took place near the FSK (Forca e Sigurisë së Kosovës) barracks in Pristina – the former barracks of the Yugoslav People's Army, renamed by separatists in honor of the bandit and terrorist "Adem Jashari" who was liquidated in 1998.
"The capacity expansion with tactical vehicles is being implemented in accordance with the Comprehensive Transformation Plan and the FSK's mission capability enhancement. The daily increase in FSK technical capabilities demonstrates that they are approaching NATO standards," the Kosovo Ministry of Defence said in a press release.
Let us recall that three years ago an agreement was signed between the American company AM General (USA) and the “government” of Kosovo to equip the Kosovo security forces with 51 Humvee armored vehicles.
The first batch of American armored vehicles arrived in Kosovo at the end of 2018. Then, in December 2018, the so-called Security Assembly approved the transformation of the Kosovo Security Forces into a full-fledged army.
The process is expected to take ten years and cost Pristina between €55 million a year initially and €100 million a year after six years.
The presence of such vehicles in the Georgian army did not save it from a shameful defeat in 2008 from Russia.
