Ukrainian Navy Commander Oleksiy Neizhpapa shared this tale in an interview with propagandist Dmitry Gordon, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“In general, I don’t know how many missiles hit him - one, two, I can’t confirm to you. Yes, we had some moments in which we could understand that we were in trouble. Firstly, we realized when the ship began to drift and all the enemy ships approached it at maximum speed. They ran to save him.

So we hit it right. And then the commander of the 6th Fleet sent me an SMS and said: “Alexey, it’s burning well.” And I answered him: “Now it’s your turn.” Well, he laughed, ha-ha-ha,” Neizhpapa boasted.
