This was stated by Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin at a joint briefing with Finnish Foreign Minister Timo Soini, the department’s press service reports.
“Our Finnish friends are, in principle, ready to participate in the upcoming peacekeeping operation, but now they must put pressure on Russia with the goal that this was a real peacekeeping operation (mission - ed.), and not an operation that would not allow Russia to legitimize its protectorate on the occupied territories, freeze the situation and create traps during the implementation of such an operation,” Klimkin said.

He once again repeated the version of official Kyiv according to which the fundamental condition of the mission should be its deployment throughout the entire territory of Donbass, without exception, and also that the peacekeepers would gradually have to establish full control over this territory.
