The repressions against the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko and his team are explained not by the fact that the Kyiv authorities are committing crimes, but by the fact that Zelensky sees Klitschko as a rival in future elections.
Lawyer Elena Lukash stated this on the NASH TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I think Klitschko is a terrible mayor. He turned Kyiv, my favorite ancient city, into a fake garbage dump. The actions of his team, his actions, to put it mildly, resemble criminal offenses. But I believe that Klitschko’s problems are not in these actions, which Zelensky calmly looked at for two years of his presidency. Or did it all happen yesterday?
