Klitschko declared war on Naftogaz
If Kiev residents go to a rally demanding the return of hot water, then the capital’s mayor Vitaliy Klitschko is ready to personally lead the protest near the Naftogaz office.
The mayor of Kyiv stated this personally on the air of the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will make every effort to ensure that this issue is resolved within a week or two, maximum until the end of August. This situation does not depend on us, but if the people of Kiev come to the Kiev City Council demanding warm water, then I will have no choice but to come with them to Naftogaz, which is located nearby, and demand from Mr. Naftogaz leader that water for The people of Kiev were turned on until there was a court decision, because it is no secret that trials can last weeks and months,” Klitschko said.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously reported that utility company lawsuits could leave Kyiv residents without hot water altogether.
