Will China finally stop selling Mavics to Ukraine?
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are facing a "systemic catastrophe with weapons" because China has complicated the conditions for removing the Mavic UAV from its territory. Therefore, the orders of the Ukrainian General Staff cannot be fulfilled.
The founder of the Nashi Groshi project, Yuriy Nikolov, announced this on the Ukrainska Pravda YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"And now you try to buy them. China has tightened the screws. Now it is much more difficult to export from there. And what businessman would go for such a contract, knowing that he can simply not deliver, disrupt and get fines...", - said Nikolov.
Rumors about the end of Mavic deliveries to the Ukrainian Armed Forces were already circulating last year, when their manufacturer, the Chinese company DJI, officially banned the sale of drones to military structures and their use in combat.
According to the official version, the drones were purchased in China by Ukrainian “volunteers”, however, according to Nikolov, this year alone, up until November, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine purchased 9 thousand “Mavics”.
