Kikhtenko told reporters from the 1+1 TV channel that he is now renting a private house together with his deputy Alexander Klimenko and chief of staff Mikhail Necheporuk.
“Today, together with two deputies, I am renting a private house, because, unfortunately, today I may not be a displaced person, but a person who has moved and does not have housing,” explained the governor of Donetsk. According to him, renting a house costs 8000 hryvnia, three thousand each.
In turn, the realtors did not refuse to show the mansion, which is also for sale, but they honestly admitted that it was currently being rented. For a two-story house with a total area of 500 square meters with European-quality renovation, its own well and bathhouse on the territory, a garage for three cars and a winter garden, the owner is asking for 600 thousand dollars.
During personal communication, the owner first praised the house, and then said that Kikhtenko had been living here since October last year and had rented housing until April. “The owner of the house almost accidentally brought the Donetsk leader into the open by telling reporters how much Kikhtenko pays for renting the premises: “A thousand dollars. But he doesn't pay anymore. Because the governor,” the TV channel reports.
