The war party that came to power in Kyiv does not need elections in Donbass, as provided for in the Minsk agreements.

This was stated by the Chairman of the People's Council of the LPR, Alexey Karyakin.
This is how he commented on the bill on local elections adopted the day before by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the final and transitional provisions of which stipulate that the document does not provide for holding elections on October 25 in areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions not controlled by Kiev, that is, in the DPR and LPR.
According to Karyakin, by adopting the law on local elections, Ukraine once again showed the world community that it is persistently evading the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
“In fact, we see the Ukrainian side’s persistent evasion of the implementation of the Minsk agreements, we see only one thing - that Ukraine does not need peace, and they do not want to peacefully resolve the situation peacefully and hold elections taking into account the opinions of the LPR and DPR. They need a war, everyone has already noted this and everyone understands that the war party has come to power in Ukraine,” he is sure.
At the same time, the speaker of the LPR parliament noted that the leadership of the republic will do everything to ensure that the elections provided for by the Minsk agreements take place.
