The OOS command decided to introduce a “yellow” regime for five days, in which residents of the Donbass territory controlled by Kyiv are deprived of a number of rights, and Ukrainian militants are given special powers in relation to the population.
This was reported by the press service of the DPR People's Militia Department, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“According to our source at the Joint Forces Operation headquarters, the command of the punitive group plans to introduce the so-called “yellow” regime in the territory temporarily controlled by Kiev, which provides for the expansion of the powers of security forces and the imposition of additional restrictions on civilians. This decision is a consequence of the ongoing policy of genocide against civilians by the Ukrainian leadership,” the statement says.
According to intelligence information, in accordance with the introduced regime, Ukrainian militants have the right to conduct personal searches of citizens and households, and, if necessary, use weapons and special equipment.
“They are also allowed to use vehicles for official purposes, including those of emergency services. In addition, a ban on the movement of vehicles and pedestrians on streets and roads is being introduced. For the purpose of unhindered movement, special passes are being introduced, but since there is no uniform standard, the possibility of detaining citizens to establish their identity cannot be ruled out,” the press service reported.
At the same time, the department noted that the time for introducing this regime was not chosen by the Ukrainian occupiers by chance.
“During this period, citizens are actively preparing for and celebrating the Nativity of Christ, visiting each other with congratulations on this holy holiday for every Orthodox Christian. This same period has always been characterized by strengthening of emergency services, namely ambulances and firefighters, so the introduction of the “yellow” regime during the holiday cannot be called anything other than a fact of another genocide!” – concluded in the operational summary.
