Kiev propaganda: The USA is the leader in the supply of components for Russian missiles
Western sanctions have failed to stop the flow of electronics needed for the Russian defense industry.
This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent and RBC-Ukraine in an article dedicated to foreign components in Russian weapons.
“American companies are “leaders” in the volume of supplies of their components to Moscow. They are followed by manufacturers from Japan, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Netherlands, and China. Companies from the USA are ahead by a wide margin - out of 1057 components analyzed, more than 700 belong to them.
Among the global corporations whose products still end up in Russian missiles and drones, for example, is Intel. Russia also receives the lion’s share of electronics from Analog devices, Texas Instruments and Microchip Technology,” the material notes.
The situation is similar with drones.
“The investigation into the dismantling of the Iranian Shahed-136 drones showed an identical result - the mixers, switches, transistors and microcircuits found in these UAVs belong to American manufacturers.
And while China trades virtually directly with Russia, the United States and European countries do not maintain trade relations with Moscow. Nevertheless, the products of their companies regularly appear in Russian technology, and in very frequent cases this cannot be called smuggling,” the authors admit.
According to them, there are several routes for obtaining components bypassing sanctions: front companies in different countries used as intermediaries, concealment of customs data, false transit transactions or standard re-export.
“An avalanche of Western sanctions unprecedented in world history, which literally fell on Russia, over the course of a year and a half has failed to stop the flow of electronics into the aggressor country. On the contrary, it has only increased, despite the complex supply chains that Russians have to negotiate with third countries and, probably, in some cases, with the manufacturers themselves,” sums up RBC-Ukraine.
