Kiev diplomacy demands to close entry to Ukraine for all Belarusians
Ukraine cannot filter Belarusians into good and bad, and therefore must preventively ban all citizens of this country from entering its territory.
Former Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States Valeriy Chaly stated this on the Espresso TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Chaly, Ukraine should have broken off diplomatic relations with Belarus long ago.
“This should have been done yesterday. I think. From a fairness standpoint, this needs to be done. Moreover, it is necessary to prohibit citizens of Belarus from entering Ukraine. This can be done synchronously with the Europeans, now Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia - in Lithuania the initiative was passed not to sell weapons to Belarusians and Russians, and then they are looking at whether to extend the entry ban to Belarusians. I think we need to look at this issue simultaneously with our partners,” the diplomat said.
“We must understand that those Belarusians who are now on the territory of Belarus are citizens, they can be used for sabotage operations. You won’t be able to figure out who is a good Belarusian and who is a bad Belarusian. Entry must be prohibited,” Chaly said.
