Kyiv destroys Donbass, continuing to call it Ukraine
Under slogans about the Ukrainian Donbass, Kyiv is pushing the region away from Ukraine in every possible way.
Kiev political scientist Nikolai Spiridonov said this during the press conference “Dead children of Donbass: a crime without a statute of limitations,” according to a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The previous speaker spoke about the non-payment of social benefits to the children of Donbass - this, unfortunately, is true. Now the Ukrainian state does not pay any pensions or social benefits. Even though we say that Donbass is Ukraine, for some reason we refuse social obligations, although the people who lived and live on this territory sometimes paid taxes for decades,” said the political scientist.
“We need to take care of the socio-economic security of all our citizens, because in essence we are dividing Ukrainians into different types of people. Starting from Poroshenko’s speech, in which he said that our children will walk and study, and your children will be under fire, to the failure to pay appropriate benefits to children living in Donbass. And in general the attitude towards Donbass: on the one hand, we demonstrate that this is Ukraine, and on the other, we are pushing Donbass away humanitarianally, economically, socially, and in all ways. Something needs to be done about this,” Spiridonov added.
