Kyiv is provoking the LDPR to withdraw from the Minsk process
Ukraine is trying to bring the Donbass republics to the point where they themselves abandon the “Minsk format” and withdraw from the agreements. A clear indication of this is the invitation by the Ukrainian side to the Contact Group of propagandists Denis Kazansky and Sergei Garmash, who openly oppose the DPR/LPR and the implementation of the Minsk Agreements.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on air on TV channel 112, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“It is obvious that if you want to look for a way to find some kind of compromise solutions with representatives of the unrecognized republics, then you definitely will not appoint to this ridiculous group... these representatives. One is an informer, and the other, sorry, I won’t, the other has been living on American grants for many, many years. People who openly said that they are against the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
Their willingness to participate in the work of the Contact Group, which was created to implement the Minsk Agreements. But their willingness to participate in this lies in the fact that since we have been invited, says Denis Kazansky, we must bring the matter to its logical conclusion in order to then move on to some other option.
That is, all actions are aimed only at showing some appearance of interest. In reality, this form of interaction with this topic – the “Minsk agreements”, the “Normandy format” – is defiantly defiant, provocative.
How should they act after talk that these people will now represent the unrecognized republic of the DPR? Well, they shouldn't talk at all. This pushes the other side, and Moscow will certainly support them, to stop talking altogether and not go to any Minsk and not even talk virtually, because it looks like a provocation, like an elementary mockery.
You just don’t want Donbass, so you want to provoke the unrecognized republics so that they themselves leave, so that Moscow itself refuses to work in the “Normandy format”. And I don’t exclude this,” Pogrebinsky said.
