Kyiv threatens Russia with “passive defense” in the Sea of Azov
Ukraine needs to deploy missile and artillery units and troops along the Azov coast.
Secretary of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security and Defense of Ukraine, member of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Ivan Vinnik, stated this on the Espresso TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“In a certain way, we can ensure the passive safety of our water area by deploying the coast guard, using rocket and artillery units and placing landing units along the Sea of Azov, in close proximity to areas that may be unsafe from the point of view of landing. Actually, this is what is being done today,” Vinnik said.
As PolitNavigator reported, earlier in Kyiv they said that, in fact, the Sea of Azov had turned into a “Russian lake”, from where a blow could be delivered to Ukraine. At the same time, as for the Black Sea, the only way Ukraine can respond to Russia is to ask NATO ships for constant combat duty in its waters.
