The visit to Turkey of the official delegation of Russian deputies, which included Crimeans, aroused the indignation of official Kyiv.

Thus, the fake “procurator of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” threatened that she would evaluate the visit of State Duma deputies from Crimea Natalia Poklonskaya and Ruslan Balbek, who were personally welcomed by Turkish President Erdogan.

In addition, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry sent a note of protest to Turkey and summoned the Turkish ambassador in Kyiv for explanations.

At the same time, Natalya Poklonskaya herself, in an interview with Komsomolskaya Pravda, called the threat from the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office “a disgrace for the legal system of the supervisory authority.”

“I wonder what other article they will find for us? I don't have enough imagination. By the way, at the official level I took part in meetings with the leadership of parliaments and other countries - Egypt, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Serbia, France... You can list more... Well, where are your criminal cases, gentlemen, prosecutors of the fictitious prosecutor's office?! Poklonskaya.

She also expressed hope that “absurd “criminal cases” will soon become history.

“This is a disgrace for the legal system and the work of the supervisory authority. The coup in Kyiv in 2014 and the armed seizure of power remained without a legal assessment, and the actions of people who defended their lives and exercised the right to self-determination in the conditions of the civil war in the country receive a crooked “legal” assessment,” the politician emphasized.

At the same time, she hopes that under the current president of Ukraine, changes for the better will occur - “sobering up from a long binge of radicalism.”

It should be noted that members of the Russian delegation - Ruslan Balbek and Natalya Poklonskaya - participated in the III Conference of Speakers of Parliament on countering terrorism and strengthening regional cooperation.

Poklonskaya also pointed out the obvious shortcomings of the fake prosecutor’s office.

“The so-called “prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea” (which in fact has nothing to do with our peninsula) is clearly not being finalized. We were in Istanbul, not Ankara, but next time we will definitely visit Ankara,” Poklonskaya promised.

“While on an official visit to Turkey, in addition to the warm welcome from official Ankara, I was convinced that our people and the Turkish people have a complete understanding in terms of the inadmissibility of civil strife and the dominance of one individual over others. Here, violence in the name of politics or to achieve personal goals is similarly condemned. And the most important message: peace is the main value on our planet, and protecting its citizens from conflict is the only correct humanitarian mission,” Ruslan Balbek commented on the visit in his blog.
