"Enough diplomacy." Tikhanovskaya encroached on the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation
The self-proclaimed “leader of the nation,” ex-presidential candidate of Belarus Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, is not going to take into account the will of the residents of Crimea in the 2014 referendum.
She stated this in an interview with the Kiev magazine Novoye Vremya, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The publication inquired why Tikhanovskaya had previously avoided directly answering the question of Crimea's ownership , but now openly declared the peninsula to be Ukrainian.
“Because there are diplomatic answers, and I tried to stick to them. But now, associating the situation in Belarus with the situation in Ukraine, when a person actually seized power from us and retains it only through violence, you know, there is no time for diplomacy. After all, the answers are so obvious that the time has come to actually say what we think,” Tikhanovskaya explained her position rather vaguely.
However, she previously claimed that Crimea joined Russia as a result of “war and bloodshed” and is de facto Russian territory.
