The American multirole and stealth fifth-generation fighters F-35 actually turned out to be not as good as they were advertised.
Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson stated this on the Deep Dive video blog, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Johnson, most of them are not operational, and the manufacturing plant has problems with the software of these aircraft.
“You know that we talk about our F-35s, that we have this great aircraft. Yes, 29% of them are in working order. But they look good in the hangar, man. Well, look, I have a friend - I won't give away details about the base where he's located - they're supposed to have 24 of these F-35s.
They have 6 and the rest are stuck on Locheed Martin because Locheed Martin can't figure out the software. So it’s across the board,” Johnson concluded.
