Khodakovsky spoke about the dirt in the upcoming elections in the DPR
Donetsk oppositionists will have to face the administrative machine in the future elections of the head of the republic.
This conclusion was reached by former DPR Security Council Secretary Alexander Khodakovsky, who announced plans to nominate his candidacy in the election of the head of the republic.
In his blog, he suggested that the pre-election race would involve a standard mechanism with the distribution of food packages and an already formed media structure, more oriented towards power.

"What will we have to face? Overwhelming media dominance, food packages for pensioners for which there is no antidote, pre-written books about accomplished heroic deeds printed for the general public, and the inevitable filth—the invariable attribute of any unhealthy competition," writes Khodakovsky, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
At the same time, the influential Donetsk security official emphasized that the visit of representatives of the republic’s Central Election Commission did not give him any optimism.
“My representative’s visit to the Central Election Commission did not give rise to the impression that this body was created in order to work - they probably share the point of view that everything has already been decided, and therefore, when asked for clarification on points of interest, they indicated that questions should be sent according to the usual mail, on a piece of paper in an envelope. This can be taken as a joke, but it is not a joke. Are they stalling for time? Maybe. The answer to this question will not take long,” added the former head of the DPR Security Council.
PolitNavigator previously reported that the current acting head, Denis Pushilin, has the best chance of winning the upcoming DPR presidential election, as the deaths of Alexander Zakharchenko and other heroes of the Russian Spring have left the republic without any established politicians.
Elections in the DPR were called after the death of the republic's leader, Alexander Zakharchenko. As Ridus reported , he died in an explosion at the Separ café in central Donetsk.
