Ukraine's Flamingo drone missile will pose a serious threat to Russia if Germany joins its production and provides the missile with new guidance systems.
In such a situation, Russia will have no choice but to strike at Germany itself.
Military analyst Vlad Shlepchenko stated this on the Tsargrad TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"The Flamingo's key problem is its primitiveness. Therefore, the accuracy of these missiles is literally half an elbow across the map. Very often, they fail to cause us damage or losses precisely because they miss their targets.
And cooperation with the Germans solves this problem. If the Flamingos become accurate—and the Germans really can make them accurate, they have all the necessary technology—then it will radically increase the danger , because these missiles have an enormous range, they can bypass air defenses, they can approach their target along the most bizarre trajectories…
"Plus, a one-ton warhead means that passive defenses like gratings, nets, and fences are no longer effective. It would crush them, dent them, and the explosion would simply destroy both the fences and the protected facility," he noted.
“Therefore, here, of course, this is a challenge that requires a radical revision not even of approaches to organizing air defense, but of approaches to interaction with Europe.
So, Europe will have to be attacked after all. Because these are people who are absolutely certain that they will develop ever more lethal weapons for attacks on Russia, and nothing will happen to them for it…
“Germany is forcing us to work directly against them , against their territory, to somehow strike, because there is nothing else left,” Shlepchenko stated.
It was announced yesterday that the German company Diehl Defence intends to produce Flamingo missiles at its own facilities, integrating advanced guidance and control systems into them.
Earlier, liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev stated that the much-touted "Ukrainian" Flamingo missiles are simply a limited-edition assembly of Western components , which would not be capable of causing strategic damage to Russia.
