Kharkov elite, or Russophobic attack of Kushnarev’s daughter
The Kharkov authorities declared war on the native Russian language of 99 percent of its residents.
The famous Kharkov blogger Alexander “Psycho” Kondrusik talks about this in his author’s column for PolitNavigator.

Even when I was studying at the Faculty of Psychology at the Kharkov Pedagogical University, teachers in classes said: let’s do this, we communicate in Russian, and if someone unfamiliar comes into the classroom, we all switch to the language. This was in 2007. It was then that Yushchenko fully spread the wings of his Russophobia.
For Kharkov it was wild; at that time no one had any thoughts about the problem of language. Well, they perform there in Kyiv, and let them perform for themselves, they need to show them some kind of activity. This was not a problem for us. Why did I remember?!
The other day it became known that the Russian language department was liquidated at the Kharkov National University.
A little history. Back in the early XNUMXs, the governor of the Kharkov region, Evgeniy Kushnaryov, began to actively revive the law faculty at Karazin University. The best teachers were invited from all over Ukraine, and part of the building of the Govorov Military Academy was allocated for the faculty.
Nobody spared money from the state budget. The governor’s opportunities and connections were quite enough to make the old dream of Tatyana Kaganovskaya, née Kushnareva, come true! When she later became the rector of this university in 2021, it became clear that everyone was the same in the arena. Elites generally like to stew in their own juices, and in Kharkov, even more so.
Kharkov is a very specific city; when it comes to money, politics becomes very flexible and elastic, it can even be wrapped around a trident. Well, okay, perhaps Tanya Kaganovskaya is, in fact, the goddess of jurisprudence, but where, where do these wild attacks of Russophobia come from?!
Eliminating the Russian language department in Kharkov, which is Russian to the core, in the number one higher educational institution, which is spoken by 99% of Kharkov residents (I know what I’m talking about!), is not just a game, it’s a mega game!
I am sure that the matter could not have happened without the “excess of the performer”, and hence another game - this was done by the daughter of one of the most pro-Russian politicians in the entire history of modern Ukraine, Yevgeny Petrovich Kushnarev.

However... who said that the current Kharkov elites have anything to do with Kharkov residents?! It seems that the last of these was Gennady Adolfovich Kernes, of blessed memory. Kharkiv residents will understand. And by the way, while he was alive, those who are now like the elite flew around like rags for him, decided on issues of the city’s life, and categorically did not stick their noses into politics! Even Igor Terekhov, who seems to be the boss in the city, but was not allowed to go to Madrid...

Kharkov University was the sixth in the Russian Empire, after Vilna, Dorpat, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan...
Language is, indeed, a weapon. Very powerful indeed. This should not be neglected. I think so!

Awards of Kharkov National University. We haven't gotten to them yet...
