A Kharkov resident helped the Russian army restore armored vehicles
Residents of the Kharkov region voluntarily provide assistance to the Russian Armed Forces conducting military operations in Ukraine.
This is evidenced by the latest report from the SBU press service, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The security service exposed another enemy collaborator who collaborated with Russian troops during the temporary occupation of the Kharkov region. The attacker turned out to be an employee of a plant in the Bogodukhovsky district. After the capture of the community, he volunteered to help the invaders and began repairing their armored vehicles.
“First of all, the defendant restored the combat capabilities of Russian tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and wheeled vehicles that were shot down by Ukrainian defenders during the battles for Kharkov,” the report says.
Next, the Ukrainian secret police accuse the man of all imaginable and unimaginable sins: allegedly aiming missiles at the houses of citizens who left, robberies and thefts of personal property.
“After the liberation of the area, the attacker tried to “lay low” and thus avoid justice. However, SBU officers located him and detained him. Based on the collected evidence, the detainee was informed of suspicion under Part 1 of Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding and abetting the aggressor state). The defendant is currently in custody. He faces up to 12 years in prison,” notes the SBU.
