Ukraine will not be a member of NATO, but it will face the fate of a territory where stronger players can clinch.

Political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Nash TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“No one will take Ukraine into NATO. The worst option is not membership in NATO, the worst option is when you are not a full member of this organization, but on your territory there is more military presence of the West - America, Great Britain - than in another country,” the expert said.

"Why? What is NATO membership? You have the right to vote, you can influence decisions. And when you are outside NATO, you have no say. This is already a backing track. And secondly, you are simply a territory for military development. This could [provoke] some kind of clinch between different military players,” Karasev said.
