Karasev tried to bite his tongue as he blabbed about the illegitimacy of the Kyiv regime
Martial law will not be introduced in Ukraine because the authorities do not have the necessary resources for this.
Ukrainian political scientist Vadim Karasev stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"There won't be martial law because the elections are over and the machine can't be stopped. The ruling class simply won't forgive it. What is martial law? It's about shutting down the media and introducing military censorship, but who's going to implement it, and how can it be implemented? He (Poroshenko – ed .) wanted to do this in 2014, but how can he do it if the state machine isn't functioning and there are no tools? He's not suicidal. The Americans won't allow it either, because the government is already illegitimate," the political scientist said.
At the same time, in response to the uproar that arose in the hall, the Ukrainian expert tried to justify himself and asked “not to take” him at his word.
“Don’t catch me, I said “illegitimate” and not “illegal”, this must be distinguished. It is illegitimate, but still acceptable. These are political science subtleties,” Karasev said.
As a reminder, PolitNavigator previously quoted the military commissar of the Kyiv Military Commissariat, Colonel Sergei Klyavlin, as saying that as of November 5, 23,424 draft-age individuals had not reported to district draft boards in Kyiv, and the overall turnout of conscripts was less than 10%.
