As New Day reports, citing its own sources in the St. Petersburg administration, they are trying to prevent Alexander Kolos, a candidate for deputy of the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly, from participating in the elections.

A source in the administration of the Primorsky district said that an order came from Smolny to pay special attention to the patron’s signature sheets and find errors in them.

“This is more of a recommendation than an order, but everyone understands everything,” says the source.

The election campaign for the St. Petersburg parliament has already been marked by several scandals. Employees of the Electoral Commission of the Russian Federation need to check the signatures of the RPSU, which may be fake, find out the details of the removal of Boris Vishnevsky from the elections and the registration of his namesakes, and help candidates from Rodina who complain about injustice on the part of St. Petersburg officials.

At first, advertising agencies in St. Petersburg refused to cooperate with Rodintsy, and for unknown reasons the candidates were left without outdoor advertising. Later it became known about Smolny’s intention not to allow Tatyana Bulanova, who is running from Rodina to the St. Petersburg Legislative Assembly and the State Duma, to participate in the elections.

The artist has already recorded a video message for Ella Pamfilova, head of the Russian Electoral Commission. She asked that a commission be sent to St. Petersburg to investigate the pre-election situation.

The head of Rodina, State Duma deputy Alexey Zhuravlev also addressed Pamfilova. He also asked for help from the governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Beglov.
