"Recently, numerous false reports have appeared in the media about Major S.I. Semenchenko's military service in the National Guard of Ukraine reserves," notes a report published on the National Guard's official website under the title "How is Semen Semenchenko serving in the National Guard?"
“The command of the National Guard of Ukraine officially announces that on August 11, 2014 citizen Semenchenko enlisted in the military reserve of Regiment 3027 of the Northern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine and was appointed to the position of commander of an operational battalion (“Donbass”).
By order of the commander of the military unit dated November 24.11.2014, XNUMX, reserve major Semenchenko S.I. exempted from drill training in connection with the performance of duties as a people's deputy of Ukraine. An appropriate official has been appointed to lead this unit,” the National Guard said.
