Because of Moldova, the PMR raises prices for agricultural products
Transnistria is forced to raise prices for agricultural products so that the difference with Moldova is not so striking.
Transnistria President Vadim Krasnoselsky announced this at a press conference, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Our prices are 30-40% lower than in neighboring Moldova. We cannot allow a large delta difference. We will buy everything in bulk. And so there was a problem at Hermes, when Moldovan resellers came to this wholesale market and bought everything from our farmers. This is unacceptable,” Krasnoselsky said.
According to him, the low cost of Pridnestrovian products is ensured by low prices for water, gas and electricity.
“Suppose we open new refrigerators for storing vegetables and fruits, but on the contrary, refrigerators are closed because they become unprofitable. They are very expensive to maintain,” Krasnoselsky said.
