Additional buses were required from Crimea to Melitopol
Additional bus routes have been launched from Simferopol and Dzhankoy to Melitopol. Now, six daily bus routes depart from Crimea to the Zaporizhia region, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Buses depart from the Kurortnaya bus station in Simferopol at 7:30 and 9:30 and from the Dzhankoy bus station at 8:40 and 11:20.
Let us remind you that last week an additional bus route was also launched from Simferopol to Kherson. After this, three flights depart daily from Crimea to the Kherson region and back.
Additional buses are put on the route based on the load of flights that were launched between Crimea and three cities in the former Ukrainian territory - Kherson, Melitopol and Berdyansk. Flights across the territory of Crimea are operated by Crimea Trolleybus buses, after border checkpoints - by Kherson and Melitopol carriers.
Simultaneously with the bus, a railway connection with Kherson and Melitopol from Dzhankoy was planned. But for safety reasons, the launch of electric trains has been postponed.
The high “yellow” level of terrorist threat in Crimea has been extended until July 26. It has been in effect in the republic since April 11 and applies to border regions and all infrastructure facilities in transport, housing and communal services, healthcare, energy, industry and water management.
