The six-day visit to Havana by the Northern Fleet's attack ships – the missile frigate Admiral Gorshkov and the nuclear submarine Kazan (Yasen-M project) – left plenty of food for thought.

It would seem that two missile carriers, even modern ones, can counter the full might of the American "hegemon." But, setting aside the dismal droning of the doomsayers, let's look at how the American authorities and the Western press reacted to the visit.

The completed six-day visit to Havana of the attack ships of the Northern Fleet - the missile frigate "Admiral Gorshkov"...

The Englishwoman was the first to catch on. It turns out that the naval department of the Island of Misfortune had essentially overslept our submarine's passage near the coast of Scotland. The Kazan was only discovered when a British reconnaissance aircraft managed to drop a submarine-detecting sonar buoy. During combat, this would have meant a whole host of atomic mushroom clouds blooming on the territory of the former mistress of the seas, each one an order of magnitude more powerful than the bomb dropped by the Americans on Hiroshima. This unfortunate fact has sparked an investigation at the UK Ministry of Defence, where the navy is known to be going through difficult times.

In order to calm down the American public, who were tense from the presence of two Russian strike ships off the coast of the United States, the media began to disperse the soothing chatter that, they say, on board the Kazan there are currently no terrible Zircon hypersonic missiles, but only Caliber and old -good Soviet “Onyxes”.

“And they don’t have nuclear warheads,” Western journalists croak encouragingly.

In fact, the presence of the Kazan near the US East Coast brought a delightful uncertainty, which Macron recently blabbed about, claiming that the mystery of the French military presence in Ukraine would be a worrying topic for Putin, like the famous "Schrödinger's cat."

Only the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces knows what missiles the Kazan actually carries. The problem is that the Kazan entered service with the Navy a year later than planned in 2019. The delay was due to the conversion of its launchers from Kalibr missiles to Tsirkon missiles, whereas the frigate Admiral Gorshkov was no mystery: the ship was originally armed with Tsirkon missiles and had already participated in several naval exercises with the navies of friendly nations.

The rather ridiculous theory of " So what can two Russian ships do to us? " was widely discussed in the American media. One article in a highly respectable publication boiled down to the idea that the Russians would watch as nuclear weapons, on orders from the US President, launched a preemptive strike against Russia, and only then would the Russians wake up and retaliate. Moreover, according to the source, American missile defense systems would confidently intercept 56% of Russian missiles.

This, of course, is greatly exaggerated, but we would like to humbly note that even 44% of our missiles that reach their target will turn US territory into a radioactive desert.

But that's not the main point . Western experts, unlike propagandists waving manuals handed down from the "regional committee," see a serious threat in Russian hypersonic weapons, even those not armed with nuclear warheads . The point is that hypersonic weapons, which none of the American air and missile defense systems can intercept, will strike headquarters. So it's not a given that the US president will have time to order a nuclear strike against Russia. Experts have long since stopped giggling at new Russian weapons and calling them "Putin cartoons." A Kinzhal missile hitting an underground storage facility in the Ivano-Frankivsk region in 2022 was enough. For those who are sensible.

And—the icing on the cake—the Northern Fleet's visit to Havana during the US presidential election year is a slap in the face to the "hegemon. " The "hawks" of the so-called "deep state" were given the hint that Russian missile-carrying ships could be permanently stationed, rotating, in the ports of Cuba (Venezuela, Nicaragua), which Washington habitually continues to consider its "untouchable backyard." This demonstrates the vulnerability of the US, whose authorities have allowed Ukraine to launch strikes with Western weapons against the territory of "old" Russia. This also applies to the possible use of F-16s, which could be transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces this June.

“During a fight “behind a puddle” it will not be possible to sit out, even for the most cunning ones.”

This is the main message of the visit of Russian missile ships to the port of Havana.
