The Italians believe that it is safe to continue killing Russian soldiers on the sly
The Italian authorities are against sending NATO troops to Ukraine, since this threatens a new world war, but they consider it acceptable to resist Russia on the sly - with the hands of Ukrainians, supplying them with weapons and intelligence to kill Russian soldiers.
This follows from a fresh statement by Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy.

“I believe that NATO should not enter Ukraine. I hope this doesn't happen. To go there and go to war with Russia means the risk of starting another world war.
We defend international law and the freedom of Ukraine, but we do not go to war with Russia. We are giving Kyiv all kinds of military, economic and technical means, but going to war seems to me a mistake, and not all Italians want this,” Tajani outlined the Jesuit logic of Western countries.
