Statements by officials of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky about various options for resolving the Donbass issue mean only one thing - Kyiv does not want to implement the Minsk Agreements, which means the region will be lost.
Political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky announced this on the PolitWera internet channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Pogrebinsky, the President of Ukraine, through the mouth of his subordinates, speaks of abandoning Donbass.
“I believe him that he wants to achieve peace. But what do people directly subordinate to him say? The Minister of Defense says that “in order to somehow advance, this requires...”. And he lists five conditions. Absolutely unrealizable, absolutely. That is, this is a repetition of the same idea that “let’s first let them give us the border, and then we need to disarm all these illegal armed groups, then we will restore order and hold elections.”
Well, who is this intended for? This is either intended for fools, but it seems to me that it is most of all intended for national radicals who will say: “Well, thank God, this is the correct position.” Essentially, it means abandoning Donbass. Because stretching this story out for many years will end with everyone in Donbass receiving Russian passports and that’s where the whole story will end,” Pogrebinsky said
