Foreigners do not want to buy Ukrainian banks even for one hryvnia
Foreign investors do not want to invest in the Ukrainian banking sector because they do not see an opportunity to make money in Ukraine.

The president of the Ukrainian Analytical Center, Alexander Okhrimenko, announced this at a press conference in Kyiv, recalling that the current head of the NBU, Valeria Gontareva, having taken her position in 2014, promised an influx of foreign investors into the country.
“I think she was really hoping that she could quickly get a couple of banks ready for sale and resell. But there are no investors and none are expected. If in 2014 there were still some attempts, now banks are already on sale for one hryvnia, but there are no buyers,” the economist noted. – Now the situation is such that foreign business does not see the point of buying Ukrainian banks, they do not see where to make money in Ukraine. In fact, two and a half years were lost for the banking system and economy of Ukraine.”
