Fugitive foreign agent poet Dmitry Bykov predicts victory for Ukraine this year, citing his “intuition.”
He stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian YouTube channel "Power vs. Vlashchenko," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The spring will be stormy. Summer is just crazy. And to be honest, it’s scary to even think about what autumn will be like. Especially in the States, because the elections do not promise to be simple. But Ukraine will experience quite a lot of joys and various surprises in the spring and summer: a sharp increase in strength, serious progress at the front and in the fall, as it seems to me, the resolution of many protracted crises,” Bykov said.
He predicted large peat fires in Russia, which would “push the country somewhere.”
“I don’t think everything will be decided in ’24. I pin my main hopes on the 25th, partly because I still need to finish the book before going back and working for the good of the Motherland. I need to finish my novel. I think that the 25th year will be decisive, and the 24th year will be a year of very important and wonderful expectations,” Bykov said.
It is noteworthy that at the end of last year, a foreign agent recommended that Russian emigration remain in the West, where they fled. What influenced the sensitive “intuition” of the fugitive poet is unknown, but the Ukrainian presenter Natalya Vlashchenko, who conducted the interview, had the same sources.
