The US imperial period has come to an end
It is time for the United States to understand that the time of its hegemony is coming to an end – the States are no longer the largest world economy and cannot dictate its terms to the entire world.
Former CIA analyst Ray McGovern stated this in an interview with the YouTube channel Dialogue Works, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Joe Biden is not himself now, but I think even then he was brought up in a worldview that really believed that the United States was so exceptional or so indispensable, so great, that it could impose its will anywhere. And he helped the United States become really one of the countries that could impose its will in cooperation or in conflict with others.
" The imperial period is coming to an end, and I hope the new president understands that after World War II and the collapse of the Soviet Union, we can no longer dictate our terms. We're not even the most powerful economy compared to the BRICS . Everything has changed," McGovern said.
