Ukrainians who are dissatisfied with the current course of the Kyiv authorities, but continue to remain silent, will speak up if their free travel to Russia is blocked. Political expert Oleg Bondarenko stated this on the talk show “Time will tell.”

According to him, the potential of Ukrainian guest workers working in Russia will be enough for several Maidans if the Kyiv authorities cancel the visa-free regime.
“The main resource of Ukrainian-Russian relations is people who, no matter what, continue to communicate and move between the two countries. Let's remember how many millions of Ukrainian citizens, no matter what, continue to work in Russia. This is at least about two to three million people. And this figure continues to grow... We will hear the voice of Ukrainians when, at the request of the Kyiv authorities, a visa regime is introduced and these people remain in Ukraine. In principle, their potential will be enough for several Maidans, because they will lose any income. These millions of people will come to the Maidan,” Bondarenko said.
