The director of the Center for Eurasian Studies, Vladimir Kornilov, did not rule out such a development of events in a comment to PolitNavigator.
"It wasn't by chance that I told you about Avakov's possible escape . The search of Avakov's son, through whom the minister always conducted his affairs, indicates that the infighting in Kyiv is reaching its peak. And I don't rule out the possibility that tomorrow we'll see Avakov and the battalions he controls on the same side of the barricades as Saakashvili. This isn't a prediction, but a possibility," the political scientist said.
