"The enemy continues its terror. Once again, energy throughout Ukraine is under massive attack. Energy workers are taking all necessary measures to minimize the negative consequences for the energy system. As soon as the security situation is resolved, the damage caused will be clarified," said Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko.

Ukrainian operator Ukrenergo has announced that it is increasing the volume of electricity restrictions.

In addition, it was announced that the power outage stabilization schedules are no longer in effect.

A serious incident took place in Ternopil.

"Due to a massive missile attack on energy facilities, the scope of application of consumption restriction measures is increasing from 1 stage to 3 simultaneously. 50% of consumers in the region have been disconnected," the Ternopil Regional Administration reports.

Military observer Yuriy Podolyaka claims that the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense has noticeably declined.

"And it's not even a shortage of ammunition for anti-aircraft artillery and missiles (although that's also a factor). Our missile crews have clearly mastered new passive countermeasures (including the constant use of 'geraniums'), and that's why most of the missiles hit their targets ," Podolyaka writes.

In addition to energy, strikes were also carried out on military targets.

"So far, since the beginning of the morning missile attack, cruise and hypersonic missiles have been recorded in the Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Odesa, Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, and Cherkasy regions. Thermal power plants, substations, and airfields have been hit," comments Boris Rozhin, an expert at the Center for Military and Political Journalism.

At the same time, Ukrainian monitors report a new batch of missiles at the moment. It is claimed that the supersonic "Kinzhal" is heading to Starokostiantyniv (Khmelnytsky region), where a military airfield is located.
