“Unprecedented falsifications are being prepared”: the man who “destroyed” Kuchma withdrew from the election race
Former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Moroz has withdrawn his candidacy from the Ukrainian presidential elections, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The political council of the party, which nominated my candidacy for the post of President of Ukraine, at its meeting analyzed the course of the election campaign and made a reasonable conclusion about the preparation of an unprecedented unceremonious election fraud. The party activists consider it inappropriate to continue my participation in the campaign, a political farce, having come to terms with its essence,” said a statement published on Moroz’s Facebook page.

The politician noted that from now on he asks not to be considered a candidate for the post of President of Ukraine.
Let us recall that the high point of Moroshch’s political career was 2000, when his speech in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with the revealing “Melnichenko tapes” gave rise to the “cassette scandal” that destroyed the reputation of then President Leonid Kuchma.
