The State Duma intends to provide assistance Igor Kucheryavyi, a member of United Russia from Sevastopol, who was detained the day before by the SBU, assistant to deputy Dmitry Belik, who went to Ukraine to obtain a Ukrainian passport, which provides visa-free travel to the European Union.
This is stated in a statement by the head of the Duma Committee on Foreign Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, who represents the LDPR party.
“The detention of United Russia member Igor Kucheryavy by the SBU is political revenge. Kyiv continues to hunt for Crimeans who refused to recognize the unconstitutional coup in 2014 and submit to the bloody Poroshenko junta.
