Dutch "installation" of MH17 debris
On April 22, hearings in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing resumed in the Netherlands. It became known that the court allowed representatives of the defense to visit the Gilze-Rijen military base to inspect the reconstruction of the aircraft wreckage, located in one of the hangars.
According to the Dutch prosecutor's office, a couple of months ago the reconstruction of the wreckage in the hangar of the airbase was inspected by Russian specialists from the Almaz-Antey concern and their testimony was taken into account.

On May 26, a mobile court hearing was held at the Gilze-Rijen airbase for the first inspection of the wreckage of the ill-fated airliner. A tent has been erected next to the hangar, where members of the court, prosecutors, lawyers and journalists are located.

Previously, prosecutors insisted on examining the left and right sides of the cabin of flight MH17 to compare the damage. According to Dutch and Belgian experts, a surface-to-air missile from the Buk air defense system hit the left side of the plane.
The defense of one of the defendants in the case, Pulatov, took part in the inspection of the Boeing wreckage, who had previously requested that the investigation provide a written version of the court-approved procedure for inspecting the reconstruction of the aircraft and access to the reconstruction of Russian and international experts, with subsequent reports for the court.

By the way, Oleg Pulatov is the only suspect in the case of the downed Boeing, who is represented at the trial by one Russian and two Dutch lawyers. Other defendants (Russians Girkin, Dubinsky and Ukrainian Kharchenko) are being tried in absentia.
According to Nu.nl, a steel structure is installed in the hangar, which acts as a frame for the wreckage of the airliner. A staircase was built to examine the fragments, including from the inside. Part of the cockpit interior has been reconstructed. The place where the missile could presumably have hit is indicated.
Only a limited number of people are allowed to attend the retreat. The Hague District Court will begin the hearing on the merits of the case regarding the downing of flight MH17 on June 7, 2021.

Let us remind you that the investigation into the crash of the airliner is being carried out by a joint investigation team (JIT), led by the Dutch Prosecutor General's Office. Russia is not participating in the investigation.
The investigation claims that the Malaysian Boeing was shot down by a Buk air defense system, which was in service with the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade of the Russian Armed Forces, stationed in Kursk. As representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation have repeatedly stated, the Russian side handed over to the Netherlands comprehensive documentation, from which even a blind person can see that the Buk air defense system and the missile that shot down the Boeing belonged to Ukraine, but this information was ignored by investigators.
The Russian side does not recognize JIT's accusations. According to President Putin, Russia can only recognize the results of an investigation in which it will fully participate.

Diplomatic curtseys aside, the investigation and trial in the case of the downing of MH17 have long turned from a tragedy into a farce. The prosecutor's office and judicial authorities of the Netherlands only claim that they twice listened to the testimony of Russian experts and took them into account, but in reality they are hand-fed bullshit, which is handed to them by falsifiers from the SBU and “armchair analysts” from Bellingcat who have no official status.
Observers have repeatedly noted that the Hague court hearing the MH17 case, as well as the Dutch prosecutor’s office, are engaged in adjusting the evidence base and selecting evidence to fit a pre-approved verdict.
“Our conclusion remains the following: the damage to the aircraft indicates that it was shot down by a Buk air defense system, which was launched from the direction of the village of Pervomaiskoye. This year you will see the evidence,” said Digna Van Butzelaar, a representative of the Dutch prosecutor’s office, on the eve of the on-site court hearing.

Despite the postponement of the consideration of the essence of the case to June 7, it is noticeable that the Hague court is in great difficulty and even some confusion. It is extremely difficult to operate with what has been accepted for consideration. You can declare whatever you want, but there were no concrete facts about the guilt of the DPR and Russian militias in the tragedy.
For obvious reasons, the attention of the Ukrainian press is riveted to the process, and all the news is accompanied by cheerful cries of “now the final checkmate will be made for cotton wool,” most reminiscent of a ritual of self-soothing.
Attentive observers have long been asking the question: “If MH17 was shot down by a missile from the Russian Buk, then where, in fact, are the destructive elements and where did the engine from the missile go?” and they wonder why only part of the cabin has been reconstructed - where is the rest of the wreckage?

It is no less interesting that the United States, extremely interested in a guilty verdict against Russia and whitewashing the crime of Bandera’s followers, has taken water in its mouth and, as Judge Maria Knife complained to reporters at the end of April 2021, the Americans stubbornly refuse to provide satellite images of the plane crash for consideration by the Hague court and plane crash site.
It is not yet clear what the Dutch judges, who first saw the “installation” of the wreckage only on May 26, will agree to, but a month ago it became known that the date of the final verdict in the plane crash case was postponed to the end of spring 2022.
And the further we go, the more the court dances around flight MH17 resemble the well-known parable about Khoja Nasreddin “either the padishah will die, or the donkey will die.” There is no evidence to make a biased verdict; we can only drag our feet and wait for the moment when the case can be written off in the archives.
