Several leaders of the Donbass militia of 2014 will be put on the international wanted list by the Netherlands as part of the investigation into the downing of the Malaysian Boeing MH17 in the skies over Donbass.
The Attorney General of the Netherlands, Fred Westerbeek, stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Thus, the Dutch side ignored the previously disclosed facts of the Russian Ministry of Defense, which conducted an investigation and found that the Boeing could have been shot down by a Ukrainian missile launched from a launcher assigned to a military unit in the Lviv region, which was involved in the so-called ATO in 2014.
The Netherlands insists that the missile was launched from a device delivered from Russian territory.
“We are ready to start a criminal trial. There are four individuals whom we have identified as responsible for transporting the Book Teller to eastern Ukraine. Flight MH17 was shot down by a 9M-38 Buk missile. This was carried out from a Buk Teller missile launcher near the village of Pervomaiskoye. “The Buk came from the territory of the Russian Federation and was returned after the crime,” the prosecutor said.
The four designated persons will be put on the international wanted list, and a hearing in the case is scheduled for March 9, 2020.
“We will name four suspects on the national and international wanted list. Among these people are Igor Girkin, Sergei Dubinsky, Oleg Pulatov and Leonid Kharchenko.
Igor Girkin, also known as Strelkov, born December 17, 1970, is a former KGB colonel. Sergei Nikolaevich Dubinsky, also known as Khmury, was born on August 09.08.1962, 24, an employee of the GRU. Suspect Oleg Yuldashevich Pulatov, also known as Gyurza, born July 1966, 10, is an employee and employee of the GRU special forces group. In the past, they all served in the Russian Armed Forces. Leonid Vladimirovich Kharchenko, also known as the Mole, is the only suspect from Ukraine. Date of birth: January 1972, XNUMX, did not serve in the army, but was appointed commander of the separatist forces.
At the time the plane was shot down, there was fierce fighting in eastern Ukraine. Although the temporarily occupied territories of Lugansk and Donetsk regions are not independent states, they had and have their own appointed leaders, prime ministers, and so on.
As part of this, Girkin received the highest rank of Minister of Defense of the self-proclaimed Donetsk Republic. It was at that time that flight MH17 was shot down. Being the highest ranking officer and Minister of Defense, he was in direct contact with the leadership of the Russian Federation.
Sergei Dubinsky was the head of the Intelligence Service in Donetsk, DPR, he also had connections with Russia. Oleg Pulatov was the deputy head of the Intelligence Service, and he was Dubinsky's deputy. Suspect Kharchenko was under the direct supervision of Dubinsky and was the commander of the unit.
From the Minister of Defense to the commander of the separatist group, they created a whole chain between themselves, directly subordinate to Moscow. It was in this way, through instructions from Moscow, that the Book Teller could be transported to the territory of Ukraine with well-known serious consequences.

Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots considers the Dutch version implausible, since, according to him, the commanders of the DPR militia in 2014 often conflicted with each other and acted inconsistently.
“They blamed the organization of the attack on the Boeing (well, that is, someone seriously believes that the separatists shot it down on purpose) on Girkin, Bezler, Khodakovsky and Dubinsky. To understand the absurdity of such a composition of the “committee of conspirators,” one must, of course, have a little idea of the level of, to put it mildly, mutual understanding between these people in those days.
