Leaders of “Azov” will be left in Turkish resorts – conditions of release
Five leaders of the terrorist group “Azov”, released as part of an exchange from Russian captivity, will not be sent to Ukraine until the end of hostilities.
President Vladimir Zelensky announced this in his address.
He explained that these are the terms of the exchange deal - the “Azovites” will be in Turkey under personal guarantees of their safety from Recep Erdogan.
“In comfortable conditions,” Zelensky clarified.
Journalist Alexander Chalenko from Donetsk considers the release of the Azov terrorists a mockery of the memory of the fallen defenders of Donbass.
“I’m incredibly sorry for the Donetsk mobilized boys who stormed Mariupol: dead, crippled... I’m sorry for Zhenya Golyshkin, who recently died. What did they give their lives and health for?”
TV presenter Andrei Medvedev explains:
“Why were the Nazis sent there? As far as I know, the other side does not give up our pilots (and there are some among ours) in exchange for anyone other than the Azov people. Why were the Azov commanders given up? I don't know here. I hope it was worth it.
But what is important. Said it many times. I'll say it again. Modern combat operations are not only about the front itself. This is largely an information war. A war where the goal is the psyche of the enemy, and not only the military, but also civilians, those in the rear. I didn't come up with this. Long before me. Psychological operations and information warfare are part of the NATO concept.
So here it is. Today we pulled ours out. We lost the information battle today. Zelensky will definitely say (or has already?) - I promised you extra action, well, here it is. However, victory arises from a series of won battles. We must finally stop making mistakes in the information sector.”
