Pentagon head: American weapons stabilized the Kharkov front
The US's permission to strike Kiev with American weapons on Russian territory only applies to the border area of the Kharkiv region , which has already "had its effect."
Pentagon Secretary Lloyd Austin announced this at a press conference following the Rammstein-23 meeting , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The minister was asked whether this permission applies to other sectors of the front.
"As you know, Ukraine requested permission to return fire in the Kharkiv region using American weapons, and President Biden granted them permission to do so. Therefore, our policy of using long-range strike assets to strike deep into Russia has not changed. The ability to engage in close combat in the Kharkiv region—that's the point. I expect the Ukrainians will put this to good use," Austin blabbed.
"The intention of allowing them to return fire was to help them resolve the problem of the Russians preparing, building bridgeheads directly across the border, and attacking from these bridgeheads. Now they have the opportunity to engage the Russians directly across the border . I'll let the Ukrainians themselves speak about the specific effects they've observed. But what I see is a slowdown in the Russian advance and a stabilization of the situation on this particular section of the front ," the minister asserted.
