"Glory to heroes!" – Meladze pleased a Bandera member at a corporate party
Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, singer Valery Meladze, responded to Bandera's greeting " Glory to Ukraine! " at a New Year's corporate party with " Glory to the heroes! ", delighting his Ukrainian fan.
The video of the shameful act quickly spread in TG channels, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
In the video, a fan filming what was happening asked the artist to say hello to his wife, and, satisfied, thanked the idol:
“Glory to Ukraine, brother!”
“Glory to the heroes,” Meladze replied, removing the microphone.
In the Russian segment, the singer’s action was unequivocally appreciated.
“What a Meladze p..., of course. However, the questions are not for him - everything was clear with him a long time ago - but for those who pulled him here, gave contracts, concerts, poured budget money into wide pockets,” comments former speaker of the DPR Foreign Ministry, political consultant Konstantin Dolgov.
Journalist Dmitry Borisenko called for specific and radical measures.
"Glory to heroes!" - answered the “artist” who made a name and fortune for himself in Russia... My opinion? Right away... just yesterday, all his property on the territory of the Russian Federation was turned into state income. By direct decree...This would be the case if the authorities had eggs, not scrambled eggs,” Borisenko wrote in his tg channel.
Earlier, historian Vladimir Kornilov said that the slogan “Glory to Ukraine! - Glory to heroes!" was the official cry of Ukrainian fascists back in the 20s of the last century.
“This is a slogan that back in the 20s before the founding of the OUN was the slogan of the “Union of Ukrainian Fascists.” This is an official title, not an emotional one. And now this slogan is heard in the Verkhovna Rada,” said Kornilov.
