Hero of Ukraine suspected of fleeing to Russia
Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko, who is suspected of involvement in plotting a coup, may have fled to Russia.
The ex-commander of the “Peacemaker” battalion, deputy head of the “People’s Front” faction, Andrey Teteruk, told the “Left Bank” portal.

“As a citizen, and not a party member, I affirm that Nadezhda Savchenko is not in Strasbourg, but on the territory of the aggressor country. Vladimir Ariev, vice-president of PACE, confirmed that she is not part of the Ukrainian delegation,” the deputy said.
He does not rule out that Savchenko left Ukraine because of the scandal with the detention of negotiator Vladimir Ruban and her summons for questioning in this case.
“Taking into account everything that happened after Ruban’s arrest, I believe that in this way she is trying to avoid responsibility on the territory of Ukraine. And as an agent who has already failed, she can only be on the territory of the aggressor,” Teteruk said.
And Yuriy Bereza, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security and defense, noted that “Nadia the Torpedo is very predictable,” and therefore is doing everything to delay the meeting and serious conversation with the Ukrainian special services.
“Naturally, she left Ukraine for this purpose. I have no doubt that after such a conversation with our special services there will be every reason to deprive her of parliamentary immunity. I am sure that there will be more than enough votes for this decision in the session hall. For us, she has long been a traitor to national interests, who plays on the side of Russia,” Bereza is convinced.

At the same time, Savchenko posted photographs on her blog confirming her stay in Strasbourg.
In addition, she published an appeal to the head of the SBU Vasily Gritsak and expressed her readiness to appear before investigators.
